On the 23rd of February, our students volunteered in “Slush Tokyo 2019”, the world’s largest event for startup tech companies held at Tokyo Big Sight.
Slush is a student-driven non-profit movement that operates across Finland, Singapore, Shanghai, and Tokyo. It aims to raise a new generation of entrepreneurs, facilitate founder-investor meetings and build a world-wide startup community.
Slush Tokyo serves as a platform for those who wish to enter the Japan market and expand out of it. Aside from the main conference, there were demo booths, recruiting events, meetups, hackathons, pitch contest, among others.
The event was attended by more than 7,000 people from over 80 countries.
